Hey everyone and welcome to the official JUNGLE FITNESS Orange County Personal Trainer Blog! Today is Motivational Monday, we’re going to discuss the top 10 ways we think will help you get fit, healthier, and sexier for the summer!
Here are 10 things you can do (Jungle Fitness approved) that will help you get closer towards achieving your sexier, healthier, and more fit body for the summer.
1. Consume the recommended daily intake of fruits and vegetables
2. Try to keep your daily intake of sodium to a minimum
3. Get at least 6 hours of sleep, 8 hours recommended
4. Exercise with resistance training at least 3 days a week / 20 minutes each day
5. Exercise at least 5 days a week with cardiovascular activities (ie: running, walking, jogging, biking, fitness classes, etc…)
6. Instead of eating out and spending money, stay home, save money, and cook with pepper or other herbs to help curb your cravings
7. Jot down your calorie intake per meal you eat and keep yourself accountable (those candies or small snacks add up)
8. Maximize your mojo - for those who eat when stressed, release your stress through exercise, yoga, stretching, massage, or just by relaxing.
9. Picture your goals - as long you’re striving in the directions of your goal(s), you will eventually succeed; “Success is inevitable without quitting.”
10. Get a personal trainer!
