OC Personal Fitness Training: Most Ridiculous Fatty Foods

Posted by JungleFitness on February 13, 2012 at 11:07 am.

(Fitbie.com–) From sandwiches stuffed with fried mozzarella sticks to an omelet made with a dozen eggs, here are a few of our nation’s most ridiculously fatty foods. Weightwatchers, avoid these during vacation!

Redonkadonk

OC Fitness Training: Irvine
Where to find it: Brunch Box, Portland, OR
A far cry from the earthy vibe that Oregon usually gives off, this Portland-spawned sammy features a burger topped with Spam, bacon, ham, and a fried egg—all nestled between two Texas-toast grilled cheese sandwiches. (Video: Make a Burger for Weight Loss) Altogether you’re looking at more than 1,000 calories and around a whopping 70 g of fat!
Fat Darrell

OC Fitness Training: Tustin
Where to find it: R U Hungry, New Brunswick, NJ
Dreamed up by a former Rutgers student, this Jersey doozy loads a hoagie roll with chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, French fries, marinara sauce, lettuce, and tomato. The sandwich has also inspired a number of other fat-saturated sammies. For example, the Fat Russian pairs cheesesteak and cheeseburger patty with chicken fingers, onion rings, French fries, and hot sauce. The Fat Kushion is a creation of cheesesteak topped with chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, bacon, French fries, jalapeno poppers, and hot sauce. A loaded sandwich will only cost you about $6 or $7—and about 1,600 calories
12-Egg Omelet

OC Fitness Training: Newport Beach
Where to find it: Beth’s Café, Seattle, WA
The Seattle spot offers patrons the option of a six- or twelve-egg omelet stuffed with a medley of meats and cheeses. In the case of the diner’s Triple Bypass, your eggs will be wrapped around bacon, sausage, ham, and Swiss and American cheeses. We’re usually the first ones to sing the praises of eggs for all of their fabulous health benefits, but you can have too much of a good thing. A dozen eggs will hit you with about 840 calories—and that’s before you add the trimmings.
Bacon Maple Bar

OC Fitness Training: Costa Mesa
Where to find it: Voo Doo Doughnuts, Portland, OR
The ultimate hipster treat, this yeast donut is topped with maple frosting and strips of bacon, which make it extra fatty. Maple bars typically pack close to 600 calories and more than 20 g of fat. Two slices of bacon add about 70 more calories and 6 more g of fat.
